This class is for students who have little or no pre-knowledge of Japanese. Instruction includes writing and reading Hiragana and Katakana.

Adult 2 class (Students who have successfully completed Adult 1 or equivalent) IN-PERSON CLASS ON FRIDAY
Basic sentence patterns and grammar as well as rules for the use of vocabulary are taught to enable students to understand and carry out basic communications with Japanese people.

Adult 3 class (Students who have successfully completed Adult 2 or equivalent) ON-LINE CLASS ON THURSDAY
Students review sentence patterns and grammar to further their conversational skills. Students more fully understand Japanese people in a range of conversations.

Students will review material covered in the Adult1 to Adult3 classes, and learn comprehensive and practical Japanese. Students will further their knowledge of various areas of Japanese culture including the custom, history, and current events.
